Why parked free Redirections ?

This often happens on multiple companies which provide domains services like GoDaddy and others, when you purchase a domain and you didn't create a site. after few days they point your domain to a specific page for their own profits like advertisement and when someone visit your site got redirected automatically to such page.

You can avoid this behavior by creating a host and add a page that shows that your site is under development or if you forget this before pointing you external nameservers to your domain registrar make sure A@ record is pointed to the ip address of your host below are some process to it on GoDaddy

1. Log in to your GoDaddy Domain Control Center.
2. Select your domain to access the Domain Settings page.
3. On the DNS Management page, next to the A record with @ in the Host field, click the pencil icon. We recommend copying down the current IP listed before updating in case you want to unpark your domain later.
4. Update the Points to field to the IP address of your host
5. Select Save to save your changes
